Stable Drive Unit

The saw’s drive unit is integrated into the body on robust cast iron arches, featuring a classic design with a solid main spindle and a belt transmission system offering two speeds: 3500 and 4500 rpm. The innovative tool-free “Rapid” saw mounting system ensures quick and secure blade installation, providing exceptional rigidity to the entire setup. The motor plate simplifies the installation of either 3.9 or 6.0 kW motors.

Steel Body

The Rema Fx400 features a robust steel construction that provides exceptional rigidity and resistance to deformation. The format table assembly is securely fixed to the body with four bolts, ensuring stable operation and maintaining cutting geometry. The main table, made of large cast iron, sits atop the body and is supported by four adjustable displacers for easy positioning relative to the format table. Additionally, the underside of the body is equipped with leveling mechanisms and stabilizing anchor installation points for enhanced stability.

Interchangeable Sides

The saw’s top guard features interchangeable sides for cutting at angles up to 45° as well as for right-angle cuts. It is also equipped with rollers to assist in guiding the material smoothly.

Reliable Motor

The motor plate allows the straightforward installation of either 3.9 or 6.0 kW motors, with the main spindle operating at speeds of 3500 and 4500 rpm. Additionally, it is powered by a 0.75 kW undercutting spindle, which runs at 8500 rpm.

Start/stop function

The desktop in the basic version. From left, safety “stop” switch, indication of the current speed of the main spindle, start/stop button, two-position rotary switch for the undercutting spindle.

Precision Readout

The electronic readout of the transverse ruler allows reading the width of the cut with a bumper on the transverse ruler from 50 -1630 mm, with an accuracy of 0.1 mm.

Rigid Format Table

The format table of Rema Fx400 features a high-rigidity, anodized multi-chamber design. It includes a cover and scrapers to protect against dust generated during cutting. The table is guided by four steel rods hardened to 60 HRC and equipped with a carriage that has steel rollers. Stability is enhanced by 12 eccentrically positioned guide rollers.

Precision Cutting

The electronic cutting width reader ensures precise and repeatable material cutting. Utilizing a new generation of absolute measurement technology, Rema Fx400 offers an accuracy of 0.1 mm for reliable readings.
