Shredding

Drum chippers purpose is to shred wood waste, such as sawdust or wood chips, as well as woodworking waste into high-quality technological, fuel, or smoking wood chips. The moisture level of the processed raw material does not affect the shredding process. Drum chippers are typically equipped with vibratory feeders, ensuring automatic and fully safe feeding of wood waste into the chipper’s loading chamber. The size of the wood chips obtained from the chipper depends mainly on the number of cutting blades on the blade head. The size of the chips is also influenced by the perforation of the screen mounted under the blade head.
