Trimming saw for boards

FDR circular saw is a stationary machine designed for transverse cutting of boards with circular saws. Depending on the version, it may have from 2 to 6 cutting supports on which electric motors are mounted. The circular saw in each cutting support is mounted on the shaft of the electric motor.

The spacing between the circular saws is manually adjusted with a crank through a toothed gear coupled with the cutting supports. The first carriage, seen from the control panel side, is always a fixed element without the possibility of moving.

The feed movement of the processed material is carried out by a chain conveyor with drivers, the transport chain of which is driven by an electric motor through a worm gear.

The raw material to be processed is manually placed in the board magazine located at the beginning of the feeding zone, from which it is individually selected by the drivers of the feed mechanism towards the cutting zone. After cutting, the boards are transported to the material collection area.
